Can I retrieve a survey submission moved to trash in error? The survey was publish, we are receiving responses, and when I was looking at various analytics and report functions it was moved to trash - but I need it back in the responses.

    Hi Donna,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

You can retrieve a survey submission that was moved to trash in error. Jotform keeps deleted submissions in the Trash for up to 30 days, allowing you to restore them before they are permanently deleted.

    Let me show you how:

    1. Go to Jotform Tables and open the tab menu at the top.
    2. Select Trashed entries from the menu to view deleted submissions.
    3. Choose the submissions you want to restore and click the Restore button.

Restored entries will appear at the top of your submissions list until the table is refreshed or sorted.

Here is an illustration of the process:

Restore submissions from Trash Screenshot 21

Please note that trashed entries take up space on your total submission storage unless you delete them permanently, and entries in Trash are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
