Rahul JotForm SupportHi MMM_Creations,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that the value 0.3 is showing in the total amount field by default, even before a quantity is selected, and you'd like it to calculate only after a quantity is chosen. I’ll need a bit of time to look into this further on my end. I’ll get back to you as soon as I have more information to share.

Rahul JotForm SupportHi MMM_Creations,
Thanks for patiently waiting while I looked into this for you. As you're directly adding a formula to the Total field, it will automatically display 0.3 by default. To make sure the value only appears after a quantity is selected, you’ll need to handle the calculation using a condition instead. Here’s how you can set it up:
First, remove the formula you've added to the Total field. Let me show you how:
1. In Form Builder, click the wand icon available with the Total field.
2. Then, remove the added formula there and click Save.
Next, add an Update/Calculate Field condition to calculate the total only when quantity field is filled. Here is how to do this:1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on the Settings.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Conditions, and click on Add Condition, then select Update/Calculate Field.
3. Set the condition like you see below, and click on Save.
Additionally, you can clone my demo form 261071338576965 to see the added condition and the reflected changes. You can check out the screencast below to see my results:
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
