There's a bug on the Jotform Forms Password, whenever I set a password the AI inside still says I haven't enabled it yet its checked and has a password, on top of that when I search for the Jotform form it does require a password but the password doesn't work or it does not continue but when I check the inspect element it cannot fetch the password that's why its not proceeding i tried to use the AI support but it stated that its a back end issue on your side

    Hi Joshua,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Here’s how to check the Password Protection setup in your form:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder.
    2. Click Settings in the orange navigation bar.
    3. Scroll down and click Show More Options.
    4. Find the Password Protection section.
    5. Make sure Enable Password Protection is checked.
    6. Enter the password in the input box, then click outside the box to save it.

If you want to change or remove it, you can do this in the same section:

    1. Click Reset Password to set a new password.
    2. Uncheck Enable Password Protection to remove it.
    3. Test the form again after saving to confirm the password prompt works.

The knowledge base also says that anyone opening the form will need to enter the password before they can view or submit it. If someone is filling out the form when a password is set, they may see an error message upon submission saying no password was provided for the password-protected form.

I don't know this information and our support team will handle your request.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
