    Hi,

I’d like to create a client dashboard for my business where each client can:

    • Create an account and log in
    • View the status of their application (e.g., Submitted, Mailed, IRS Processing, Completed)
    • Access their own submissions only

Is it possible to build something like this using Jotform (Client Portal, Tables, or Apps)?

    If yes:

    • Which feature should I use?
    • Can clients log in and see only their own application status?
    • Can I update the status manually and have it reflected in their dashboard?

If not, what is the closest recommended setup within Jotform to achieve this?

    Thank you.

    Hi Atilla,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Use Jotform Enterprise if you need multiple users on one account. The knowledge base says standard plans allow only one login credential for one Jotform account, while Enterprise can accommodate multiple users with control and visibility into team actions.
    2. Use Jotform Tables to manage submission data in one place. The knowledge base says you can connect forms in Tables, and changes to entries are reflected in the connected form’s records in real time.
    3. Use Reports in Jotform Tables if you want an automated view of your data. The knowledge base says Reports can generate visual summaries and automatically update when new submissions come in.

About client access, the knowledge base confirms that Enterprise supports multiple users, but it does not confirm a client portal setup where each client logs in and sees only their own application status. It also does not confirm a built-in way to manually update a status field and show that status in a client-facing dashboard.

Closest confirmed setup from the knowledge base is to use Jotform Tables with connected forms so your records stay updated in real time, and use Enterprise if you need multiple users on the account.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi atillaozkan93,

I saw that you want to make a client dashboard in your account. Unfortunately, we don't have an option to create a login portal for your clients at the moment, but they can receive a notification email if their submission has been rejected or approved. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Downward Arrow icon on the upper left side of the page.
    2. Then, click on Workflow Builder in the menu that opens.

    3. Then, click on Add Element on the upper left side of the page.

    4. After that, drag and drop an Approval element from the left side of the page to your Workflow.

    5. Next, drag and drop Email elements from the left side of the page to your Workflow.
    6. Select an outcome on each link between your Approval element and your Email elements.
