pcpereiraOnce again, we are experiencing errors on your part. Please see in the images sent that when we submit a form with a link to a .pdf file, it is no longer possible to open the document! This is causing us significant problems.

Ronald JotForm SupportHi Paulo,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me take a look at this for you. To do that, we’ll need your permission to access your account. Don’t worry, you can turn it off again once we’re done. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In the top-right corner of your Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.
2. Then, in the Dropdown menu that opens, click on Settings.

3. Next, in the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.
4. If you haven’t opened your Security page in a while, it’ll ask you to verify. To do that, click on Send Verification Code.

5. Then, enter the Verification Code you receive in your email.

6. Finally, at the bottom of the page, toggle on Jotform Support Access.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help. -

Reymae JotForm SupportHi Paulo,
I checked the account linked to the form, and Support Access does not appear to be enabled yet. Can you double-check on your end and confirm whether the toggle is still turned on on your Security page?
Once you get back to us, we can take the next step toward solving this.

BrandonHi Paulo,
I took a look into your account and am still not seeing support access coming through on our end. I am looking into why this is occurring, and once we figure this out we will address the issue that you're seeing regarding being unable to open PDF files from form submissions. Thank you for your patience. -
pcpereiraIf your own tool doesn't work for me to request support, what else could possibly work? It's absurd what you're doing with support and with Vibe Coding tools. Either you improve or you lose users.
-
Kyle JotForm SupportHi Paulo,
Can you try to clear your browser's cache and cookies and re-enable the Jotform Support Access again?
When we hear back from you, we’ll be ready to move forward.

Sheena JotForm SupportHi Paulo,
Due to recent security and compliance updates, the Require Log-in to View Uploaded Files option is now enforced for certain accounts (such as KYC-verified users) and can no longer be disabled. This is why users are now being redirected to the login page when attempting to download files, even though this was previously possible.
As a workaround, you can share your submission tables as Public or use the Google Drive integration to store and share uploaded files externally, allowing users to access the files without needing to log in. You can easily set the Access Settings of your Jotform Tables to Public. Let me show you how:
- On your Jotform Submissions Table, click on Share on the top-right side of the page.
- In the window that opens, click on Share Settings and set your Table’s Privacy option to Public Table.
- Now, click on Go Back in the top-right corner of the window and copy the Generated Link or use the Invite by Email feature to invite people to view it.
You can also check out our guide about Understanding Different Privacy Options of Jotform Tables for more information.Reach out again if you have any other questions.

pcpereiraImpossible!!!!! We are talking about confidential information and for this reason we will not use Google Drive!!!!! I need an URGENT solution for this case! Note that the information is already sent to dozens of people monthly, which makes it impossible for them to have to register to access the sent PDF! I need an urgent solution, otherwise I will have to cancel your services and look for another platform that meets my needs.

Bojan Support Team LeadHi pcpereira,
To prevent our system from asking you to log in before viewing or downloading submission attachments, you can Disable the Requirement to Login to View Uploaded Files. It only takes a few simple steps. Here’s how:
1. On your Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. In the Dropdown menu that comes up, click on Settings.

3. Next, click on the Security tab on the left side of the page.
4. Then, click on Send Verification Code.

5. In the Confirmation window that opens, enter the Authentication Code sent to your email and click on Verify.

6. Now, uncheck the box next to Require Log-in to View Uploaded Files. That’s it. You’re done.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

hooram950We’re running into the same problem PDF links from form submissions just aren’t opening anymore. This was working fine before, so something seems to have broken recently. Could you please take a look and update us?

Kyle JotForm SupportHi pcpereira,
Have you unchecked the Require Log-in to View Uploaded Files in your Security page? If so, can you ask them to clear their browser's cache and cookies and see how it goes?
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
