Change Email Account

    Hi

    I’d like to update the email address associated with this account from [clientcare@thewestteam.ca]to [admin@thewestteam.ca]

    We previously had an account using the admin@ email, which has now been deleted. However, I’m still unable to assign this email address [Admin] to the current account. [ ClientCare]

    Could you please assist with this or let me know how we can complete the update?

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

    Here’s how to change your account email address:

    1. Go to your Workspace page.
    2. Click on your Profile Picture/Avatar on the top-right side of the screen.
    3. Select your name to open your Account Page in a new browser tab.
    4. Click Edit on the right side of your current email address.
    5. Enter your new email address and click Save.

    If Require Verification to Change Email is enabled in your account’s Privacy Settings, you will first need to enter the authentication code sent to your current account email address. After that, you will receive an email at your new address to verify it. Clicking Verify Now in that email will confirm the change.

    Important: each Jotform account can only be associated with a single email address, and you cannot use the same email address for multiple accounts.

    If this is not what you want, you can also transfer your forms and data to another account with the submission data.

    Hi The_West_Team,

    Keep in mind that it takes up to 30 days for deleted accounts to be fully purged from our system. During this period, the email address associated with the deleted account remains reserved and cannot be used on another account. If you want to free up the email address immediately, we can reactivate the deleted account for you.

    Once reactivated, you can log in and change the email address to a different one that you will not use later. After that, you will be able to use the freed-up email address on your current account.

    I've gone ahead and reactivated the account tied to email address admin@thewestteam.ca. You can now log in and change it to a different email address.
