vinodvyasHi,
We are looking for some technical support to integrate jotform with our ERP system.
We want to develop a feature where our users fill in a form and that gets downloaded as a PDF as well as the PDF get uploaded to a specific location.
We are looking for some support and guidance for the same.
Please redirect to the appropriate team.
Thanks & Regards,
Vinod Vyas

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Vinod Vyas,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Here’s how to do it:
You can set up Jotform to send submission data as PDF copies and transfer uploaded files to your FTP server when a form is submitted.
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Click on Settings in the orange navigation bar, then select Integrations.
- Search for FTP in the Integrations section and click on it.
- Enter your connection details in the Authentication section, including FTP Host, Port, Username, and Password.
- Choose the folder on your server where you want the submission folder to be created.
- Select whether to create a subfolder for each submission, and keep Send Submission PDF checked if you want PDF copies sent to your server.
- Select the file upload fields you want to send to your server, then click Save and Finish.
Important: You must keep Send Submission PDF or at least one file upload field selected in order to save the integration.
Once this is set up, your form submissions and uploaded files will be sent automatically to your FTP server.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

vinodvyasHi, we also need help with another thing.
Let's say this form is for sharing an applicant feedback, we plan to send a link to the refree, the link should open the form with the student details like first name, last name, email, applicant id and the remaining fields for the refree to fill their information and feedback.
Then filling this form should upload a PDF in our desired location. is that possible? -
Podo: Support SpecialistHi Vinod Vyas,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Yes, this is possible with Jotform Prefill and PDF submission handling.
Prefill lets you open a form link with specific data already filled in, such as first name, last name, email, and applicant ID. The form owner can share prefilled form URLs with users, and Jotform can also send those links through the Send Invitation option or by copying the URL.
For the PDF part, Jotform can send submission data as PDF copies and transfer uploaded files to your FTP server when a form is submitted. In the FTP integration, you can enter your connection details, choose the folder on your server, and keep Send Submission PDF checked if you want PDF copies sent to your server.
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Go to Publish and use Prefill to create a link with the student details already filled in.
- Share that prefilled link with the referee so they can complete the remaining fields and feedback.
- Open Settings, then Integrations, and search for FTP.
- Enter your FTP connection details and select the folder where you want the submission PDF to be uploaded.
- Keep Send Submission PDF enabled, then save the integration.
Important: The knowledge base confirms prefilled form URLs and FTP PDF delivery, but it does not confirm a single built-in workflow that combines both into one specific ERP process.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
