I want users who fill out my form with certain zip codes to be able to submit the form. For any other zip codes, I do not want to allow access to the form. I have a cleaning company that services only certain areas and do not want to get scheduled for areas I do not work in. I am using the Classic layout. How do I do this?

    Hi thepreparedpress,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Let me help you with that:

    1. Add a field for the zip code in your form if you do not already have one.
    2. Go to Settings and open Conditions.
    3. Create a condition that checks the zip code value.
    4. Set the condition to show the Submit button only when the zip code matches the areas you service.
    5. Hide the Submit button for zip codes you do not want to accept.

The knowledge base also includes a workaround for blocking specific entries by using a condition to hide the Submit button. It says you can add a message such as You are not authorized to submit this form and keep it hidden by default, then use a condition under Settings > Conditions > Show/Hide Field to hide the Submit button when the entered value matches what you want to block.

If you want, I can also help you adapt this to your exact zip code list in Classic layout.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi thepreparedpress,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Let me help you with that:

    1. Use a Number field for the zip code.
    2. Go to Form Builder and click Add Element on the upper left side of the page.
    3. Open the Basic tab, then drag the Number field into your form.
    4. Use that field in your condition to show or hide the Submit button based on the zip code entered.

If you do not see a Submit button, check whether a payment gateway is connected. If you are using PayPal, users may see a PayPal Checkout button instead of a Submit button, and the form submits after payment is completed.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
