angelillaHello, Did you change your policy? I am not able to upload PDF of any kind during submissions.
It doesn't do anything, it is like hovering the file to be added and the form rejects it.Page URL: https://form.jotform.com/261016346817052 -
Podo: Support SpecialistHi Angela,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Based on the information available, PDF files are included in the default allowed file types for the File Upload field. The File Upload field accepts document file types such as PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, CSV, TXT, and RTF.
Here’s how to check the allowed file types in your form:
- Click on your File Upload field in Form Builder, then click the Gear icon on the right side of it.
- Go to the Options tab in the File Upload Properties window.
- Enter the file types you want to accept in the File Types box, separated by commas. For PDF only, use pdf.
Also, file extension names are not case-sensitive, and you should enter them without the leading dot.
If you want to allow all file types, enter * in the File Types box.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Angela,
Yes, use pdf in the File Types box, and separate multiple file types with a comma.
For PDF only, you can enter pdf. If you want to allow more than one type, list them like pdf, doc, docx.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
