nickaverwaterHello-
I have a remote sales team that uses an internal facing app. Many of the sales team members will submit multiple form entries per day as they go about their sales calls. They are being asked to complete the “I am not a robot” captcha puzzles multiple times per day. How can we turn off this feature to allow them to continue to submit the app without having to repeatedly do the captcha?

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Nick,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Here’s how to do it:
- Check why the CAPTCHA is appearing. The reCAPTCHA appears when the form receives too many submissions or when submissions in a short period of time are coming from the same user or IP address. It is a security measure to help prevent spam submissions.
- Reduce the submission rate if possible. To prevent the system from triggering reCAPTCHA again, the knowledge base says to submit fewer than 60 submissions per minute.
- Add a CAPTCHA element to your form if you want to reduce the likelihood of triggering reCAPTCHA. In Form Builder, click Add Form Elements, then under Basic Elements, click or drag and drop Captcha.
- Review whether Unique Submission is enabled. In Form Builder, go to Settings, click Show More Options, then scroll down to Unique Submission and choose the option that fits your setup.
- Use Check Cookies Only or Check Cookies and IP only if you want to limit duplicate submissions, since these options can affect users on the same browser or network.
The knowledge base does not provide a way to fully turn off this CAPTCHA behavior. It only says that it appears as a security measure when submission activity is high or repetitive from the same user or IP address.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

nickaverwaterThank you. Unfortunately, this doesn’t allow us to fully resolve our issue. Can we either disable this feature or white list or sales teams IP addresses? What can we do to resolve this and maintain our teams efficiency?

Bojan Support Team LeadHi Nick,
I've gone ahead and reached out to our relevant team to check on your account. We’ll get back to you as soon as we get an update from them.

Paola Review Team SupervisorHi nickaverwater,
CAPTCHA is a security measure designed to protect your forms from spam and ensure the safety of our platform. It usually appears when there’s a high volume of submissions in a short period of time or when our system detects unusual activity, and it typically returns to normal after a while.
If you're open to verifying your account by filling out the User Verification Form in the Data section of your Account Settings, we can reduce the security measures for your account, including the CAPTCHA, once the verification process has been successfully completed. After you submit the User Verification Form, we'll review it and get back to you. Would that work for you?
Let us know if you have any questions.

nickaverwaterThank you, Paola. I have completed the requested form. Please let me know what steps may need to be taken further.

Paola Review Team SupervisorHi nickaverwater,
We've reviewed your submission and whitelisted your account. You can now use your forms without the CAPTCHA.
Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.
