I’m running into an issue with the Product List selection and hoping you can help.
I’ve created two separate products in my form:
- Credit Card option (includes a 3% fee)
- Bank/ACH option (no fee)
The goal is for users to select one payment type, then proceed to Stripe Checkout where they complete payment.
However, the issue I’m experiencing is:
- The form automatically selects one (or sometimes both) products by default
- Users are unable to toggle between the two options
- It does not behave like a “choose one” selection, even though that’s the intent
I’ve tried adjusting settings, but I can’t get it to function as a single-choice selection.
What I’m trying to achieve:
- Only one product can be selected
- User can clearly choose between ACH (no fee) or Card (+3%)
- Selection determines the final price sent to Stripe
Can you please advise:
- How to force Product List into a true single-selection (radio button) behavior
- Or if there is a better field/setup I should be using for this use case
Appreciate the help—this is the last piece I need to get registration working smoothly.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I saw that your product is being selected by default. I've checked your form on my end to see if I can replicate the issue and the same thing happened to me.
When I investigated your form I saw that your product is set to be selected by default. To fix the issue, you must turn off the option to that selects your product by default. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In Form Builder, click on your product and click on its Gear icon.

2. Then, toggle off the switch for Required on the right side of the page, and toggle off the switch for Selected by Default under it.
3. Finally, click on Save on the lower right side of the page.
Once done, can you test your form to see if it's going to work?
