Hi,
I am looking to use Jotform for two pieces of a sports hall of fame selection committee. I need to allow committee members to submit candidate forms for consideration. Then I need to compile the candidates into a poll and have the committee members vote for those candidates in a ranked order. Can Jotform do that? and which package do I need for this? This process would only be done once a year with 20 committee members. Thank you

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Travis,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Jotform can definitely support your needs for the sports hall of fame selection committee process. Here's how:
- You can create a form that allows committee members to submit candidate nominations using Jotform's easy drag-and-drop form builder.
- For the voting part, you can use the Orderable List widget to create a ranked voting poll. This widget lets voters drag and drop candidate names to rank them in order of preference.
Let me show you how to add a ranking question with the Orderable List widget:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element button to open the Form Elements menu.
- Go to the Widgets tab and find the Orderable List widget (you can also search for it).
- Add the widget to your form by clicking or dragging it.
- In the widget settings, enter each candidate name on a new line and click Update.
This setup will allow committee members to submit candidates and then vote by ranking them.
Regarding the package, since you have 20 committee members and this process happens once a year, a Jotform Bronze or Silver plan should be sufficient depending on your submission and form limits. These plans support multiple users and forms with ample submissions for your described use case.
If you want to explore creating the poll easily, you can also check out Jotform's Free Online Poll Maker which might simplify the voting process.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
