Hello support,
I’m experiencing issues with some edits made to my forms. As a result of these changes, certain conditions are no longer working correctly. At this point, I’m unable to determine which fields were deleted that caused those conditions to be removed. Is there a way to review the history of changes made to a form to identify what was modified or deleted?
Thanks -
Podo: Support SpecialistHi Maaz,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Jotform provides a Revision History feature that allows you to review the history of changes made to your form, including modifications and deletions of fields. This feature is very useful for identifying what was changed or removed that might have affected your form's conditions.
Let me walk you through how to access and use Revision History in Form Builder:
- Go to your Workspace page and filter to show only Forms.
- Select the form you want to review and click on Edit Form.
- In the Form Builder, under the form title at the top, click on the green Circular Arrow icon.
- On the right side, you will see a list of previous versions of your form. Select a revision to preview the changes made at that time.
- If you find the version you want to restore, click on Revert to return your form to that state.
Important: Reverting to a previous version will remove any fields added after that revision and delete submission data associated with those fields. To avoid data loss, you can download your submissions before reverting.
This feature also shows detailed information about what was changed, such as which fields were modified or deleted, helping you identify the cause of condition issues.
Here is an image illustrating the Revision History interface:

You can also watch a detailed tutorial on how to use Revision History at this video, especially starting around 00:31 where the interface and changes are explained.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
