    Hi JotForm Support Team,

I’m looking to set up a very simple daily workflow using JotForm, and I’d really appreciate clear, step-by-step guidance on the easiest way to do this.

    Here’s exactly what I need:

    Morning Flow (Daily at 06:00)

    • An email is automatically sent to my clients at 06:00 each morning
    • The email contains a link to a JotForm
    • The client clicks the link, answers 5–6 questions, and submits the form
    • Immediately after submission, they receive an email showing:
    • The questions
    • Their answers

    Evening Flow (Daily at 16:00)

    • Another email is automatically sent at 16:00
    • This contains a link to a second form (or the same form if easier)
    • The client answers questions about their day and submits
    • Immediately after submission, they receive an email with:
    • The questions
    • Their answers

    Key Requirements

    • This must run automatically every day
    • It must be simple to set up and manage (I’m not a developer)
    • No complex integrations unless absolutely necessary
    • Ideally using native JotForm features where possible

I’ve tried using JotForm AI, but I seem to be going in circles.

Could you please advise the simplest and most reliable way to achieve this setup?

A step-by-step explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best regards,

    [Your Name]

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Let me help you with setting up your daily workflow using native Jotform features that meet your requirements for morning and evening flows.

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Create Your Forms
    - Create two separate forms in Jotform: one for the morning questions and one for the evening questions (or use the same form if you prefer).

    2. Set Up Reminder Emails to Send Form Links Automatically
    - In each form, go to the Publish tab.
    - Click Email on the left.
    - Select Schedule a Reminder Email.
    - Set the reminder email to be sent daily at the desired time (06:00 for the morning form, 16:00 for the evening form).
    - Enter your clients' email addresses as recipients.
    - Customize the email subject and content to include the link to the form.
    - Save your settings.

    3. Configure Autoresponder Emails for Immediate Confirmation
    - In each form, go to the Settings tab.
    - Click Emails.
    - Add an Autoresponder Email that will be sent immediately after submission.
    - Customize the autoresponder email content to show the questions and the clients' answers (you can use form fields and submission data placeholders).
    - Save your settings.

    4. Manage Your Workflow
    - The reminder emails will automatically send the form links daily at the scheduled times.
    - Clients will receive the form link, submit their answers, and immediately get an email with their responses.
    - This setup requires no complex integrations and uses native Jotform features.

    Additional Notes:
    - You can set up to three reminder emails per form on paid plans.
    - Make sure your account timezone is set correctly to match your desired sending times.
    - You can monitor submissions and email activity in your Jotform dashboard.

This method provides a simple, reliable way to automate your daily client workflows without needing developer skills or complex integrations.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Kevin,

Yes, Jotform's scheduled reminder emails feature can send emails automatically every day like clockwork at the set time you specify.

    Here’s how it works:

    • You set the reminder email schedule to repeat daily at your desired time (e.g., 06:00 for morning and 16:00 for evening).
    • The emails will be sent automatically to the recipients you specify without any manual intervention.
    • You can manage and monitor these scheduled emails in your Jotform dashboard.

    Important notes:

    • Make sure your account timezone is set correctly to ensure emails send at the right local time.
    • On paid plans, you can set up multiple reminder emails per form.
    • If any delivery issues occur, you can check email logs and troubleshoot accordingly.

This setup ensures your daily workflows run reliably and automatically.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

got this back from the person trying to set it up for me

no 5 pm reminder e-mail to complete the even evening rock - the workflows are very complex to do. I just realised at the moment it goes out to anyone - whichit should not as it only for clients. I am afraid I need more time for this. I have therefore had to turn of the workflows for now

    Hi Kevin,

When creating Reminder emails, you need to manually enter emails of the recipients where the reminder will be sent. It's very easy to Set Up Reminder Emails in Jotform. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
    2. Click on Emails on the left side of the screen, and select the Schedule A Reminder Email option.
    3. Edit the content of your Reminder Email.

Jotform am and evening Image 1 Screenshot 30 You can also set the repeat period, specify when it will be sent, and choose the start and end date. Let's do it:

    1. While in the Reminder Emails settings, click on the Schedule tab.
    2. Adjust the Repeats and Send Date options as needed to select which day or days you would like to send.
    3. Click the Downward Arrow icon in the Send Time section to change the time it will be sent.
    4. In the Start Date section, click the Calendar icon to set the starting date. You can also set an end date to stop sending reminder emails on a specific day in the End Date section, and click on Save.
