    Hi Jotform,

I've noticed that conditional logic is still being applied to archived submissions. Is there any way to stop this? I have conditional logic to send emails on a particular date but I don't want this to apply to archived entries.

    Hi Carl,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your question about conditional logic being applied to archived submissions and how to stop it:

Currently, archiving submissions in Jotform moves them to an Archive folder where they are hidden from the main inbox view but remain fully accessible for review or action. However, there is no specific feature to disable conditional logic or email notifications from triggering on archived entries. Conditional logic and email conditions will still apply to all submissions, including archived ones, as they remain part of the form's data.

This means that if you have conditional logic set to send emails on particular dates, it will still apply to archived submissions unless you modify the conditions to exclude those entries explicitly.

One possible workaround is to add a condition in your form logic that checks for a specific field or status indicating whether a submission is archived and then prevent the email from being sent if that condition is met. Unfortunately, Jotform does not automatically differentiate archived submissions in conditional logic.

If you want, I can help you explore how to set up such conditions or alternative ways to manage this behavior.
