I'm reaching capacity. How can I store the old NP records onto a zip file to free up space.

Hi I wanted to know how to free up some space. I have these files in the system, but I'm a fan of having a back up. So if I can move the files that were in the system before 2025 that would be great. love to start fresh. You can also reach me at angelhandschiropractic@gmail.com if I don't respond.

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

To free up space in your Jotform account while keeping a backup of your files before 2025, you can follow these steps:

    1. Download Your Submission Files
Before deleting any files, make sure to download and save your submission files as a backup.

    2. Delete Uploaded Files Attached to Submissions
    - Open your Jotform Submission Table.
    - Click on the uploaded file you want to delete.
    - In the preview window, click the Trash Can icon.
    - Confirm by clicking Delete File(s).

    3. Delete and Purge Submissions with Uploaded Files
    - Select the submissions with uploaded files in your Submission Table.
    - Click Delete and confirm by moving them to Trash.
    - Go to the Trash menu, select the submissions, and click Delete Forever to permanently remove them.

    4. Archive Submissions or Forms (Optional)
If you want to keep submissions or forms but remove them from your main view, you can archive them instead of deleting.

Note: If your upload space does not update immediately after deletion, you can clear your form caches to refresh the storage usage.

These steps will help you free up space while keeping a backup of your important files outside Jotform.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
