hshemmensI am looking to cancel my account as I no longer have a need for Jotform. I would like to keep my forms and any/all submissions that I collected. If i delete my account, will all my data be erased or can I access my past forms/submissions anytime after canceling?

If you delete your Jotform account, all assets and associated data will become inaccessible. This includes your forms, submissions, AI Agents and conversations, Workflows, Apps, Signed Documents, Tables and their data, and Reports. Once the account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access your past forms or submissions.
If you want to keep your forms and submissions, consider downgrading your account to a Starter plan instead of deleting it. This way, you retain access to all your data without maintaining a paid subscription.

Podo: Support SpecialistYes, you can downgrade to the free (Starter) plan and keep your forms and submissions, but only up to the limits of the Starter plan; anything above those limits will become inaccessible (not deleted) until you upgrade again.
Here’s how it works and what we recommend:
- When you downgrade, your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period; after that, your account moves to the Starter plan.
- Once on Starter, your account must comply with Starter limits (number of forms, total submissions storage, etc.).
- If your total submissions are higher than what the Starter plan allows, you will lose access to the extra data (you won’t see it in your account), so we strongly recommend downloading everything first.
- You will still be able to create new forms as long as you stay within the Starter plan’s form and submission limits.
To safely downgrade and keep your data:
- Download your submission data before the downgrade:
- Go to each form’s Submissions/Table view.
- Export your submissions using the guide here: Download submissions.
- If your forms have uploaded files (attachments), download them as well using this guide: Download files.
- Downgrade your account to Starter:
- Go to your Workspace page and click your avatar at the top-right.
- Click Settings.
- Open the Billing tab.
- Click Change Plan.
- Click the Downgrade button for the plan you want to move to (Starter), then follow the prompts in the pop-up window to confirm.
