    1. Problem description (you can copy/paste this):
When I open my Jotform App “Symmetrix” via the share link, it always lands on the About page and I can’t navigate to my Home or Studio pages. In the App Builder I have:
    • A Home page with a “Launch Studio” button.A Studio page. The button’s Action is set to “Open Page → Studio”.All main pages (Home, Studio, Presets, About) are visible in navigation, no conditions, no role restrictions.
    I’ve tried:
    • Deleting and recreating the Launch Studio button.Cloning the app and testing the clone.Clearing browser cache, hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R / Ctrl+F5).Testing in Chrome, Edge, and Incognito on my ASUS Chromebook.
In all cases, the published app still opens only on About and ignores the button/navigation.Could you please check if there is a bug or corrupted state on this app and correct the start page / navigation so it opens on Home and allows navigation to Studio?

    Hi Jay,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your issue with the Symmetrix app always opening on the About page and not allowing navigation to Home or Studio pages, I found a related canned response about disabling the Add to Home Screen modal, which sometimes affects app behavior.

    Let me show you how:

    1. In App Builder, in the purple navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Then, in the App Settings window, toggle off Add to Home Screen Modal. That’s it.

Try this adjustment and see if it resolves the issue with the app opening on the About page instead of Home. If the problem persists, please let me know, and we can explore further troubleshooting steps.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

I did as instructed; but when I trapped on the Run Sim button, it directs me to an About page.

    Hi Jay,

It seems the issue with your app opening on the About page persists even after disabling the Add to Home Screen modal and trying the Run Sim button.

Since the usual troubleshooting steps like clearing cache, recreating buttons, cloning the app, and disabling the modal have not resolved the issue, this might be a more specific problem related to the app's start page settings or navigation configuration.

Unfortunately, I don't have additional direct solutions available in the knowledge base for this exact behavior. Our support team will need to investigate the app's configuration or potential corrupted state further.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Reach out again if you need any other help.

    Hi Jay,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I tested your app to see if I can replicate the issue, but everything is working as expected. The Home page opens on app load, and I'm able to freely navigate the pages using incognito mode. Check out the screencast below for my result:

App is not loading as expected Image 1 Screenshot 20 I cleared your form's cache, which should help. Can you try it again using another device? If the same thing happens again, let us know together with the device, the link, and the browser you're using to replicate the issue.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any help.
