smachesneyHello
I switched the captcha method on my forms but it's not updating on the forms on our site. It should have the check box (example: https://www.jotform.com/build/212166394439057) but on our website it's still going to the captcha page (screenshot below). Can you instruct me how to fix? Thanks.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Steve,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
The CAPTCHA on your form is a security feature to prevent spam and may appear automatically based on submission activity or suspicious behavior. If you switched the CAPTCHA method but the change is not reflecting on your website, it might be due to caching or the automatic CAPTCHA still being active.
Let me show you how to manually add and update the CAPTCHA on your form to ensure it appears correctly:
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Click on the Add Element menu on the left side.
- Under the Basic tab, drag and drop the Captcha element to your form.
- Click the Gear icon next to the Captcha field and select the desired Captcha Type (such as the checkbox type you want).
You can also check our guide on How to Add a CAPTCHA to Your Form for more details.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

smachesneyWe did that - it's not translating to the form on our site. Is there something we need to do in squarespace to enable?

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Steve,
When embedding Jotform forms into Squarespace, sometimes changes like updating the CAPTCHA method may not immediately reflect due to caching issues either on Jotform's side or within Squarespace.
Let me help you with that:
- Clear your Jotform form cache: Go to your Jotform Workspace, click your profile avatar at the top-right, select Settings, then under the Form Caches section, click Clear Cache. This ensures your form updates are refreshed.
- Clear your Squarespace cache and browser cache: Sometimes Squarespace or your browser stores old versions of your site pages. Clearing these caches can help load the latest form version.
- Re-embed the form code: If you used embed code to add the form to Squarespace, try removing the existing embed block and adding it again with the latest embed code from Jotform.
These steps usually resolve issues where form updates like CAPTCHA changes do not appear on your site.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
