AI agent training

Have a couple of issues I'd like guidance on:

First, regarding the Shopify integration, the AI is able to see tracking info and shipped status, but occasionally orders will get sent out in 2 shipments. When this happens, the order gets tagged as "partially fulfilled" instead of the standard "fulfilled". However, the AI speaks about these orders as if the entire thing has shipped. Is the AI unable to see tags on orders, or is there a specific way to make it tell customers that the order is going in 2 shipments if it sees that tag? I told it to look for the "partially fulfilled" tag and how to act accordingly, but it didn't make a difference.

And second, regarding the form integration for the AI, the agent gets EXTREME tunnel vision if it even thinks someone needs to use a form. For example, we have a quote form, and if the customer indicates at all they want to get a quote, even if they don't specifically say so, the AI automatically initializes the form, and hard focuses on getting that form filled out. It will provide some other info, but as soon as it initializes the form, every response becomes limited, and it asks the form question at the end of them. This not only limits the AI responses, but generally ends with incorrect info on the form. I've tried the following fixes in logic with no success

    • adding a pause to the form- this results in the only response being that the form is paused
    • stopping the form - it seemed to ignore this logic and stayed focused on the form
    • requiring a confirmation before starting the form- it ignored this as well.

The form filling function works well if that is the only goal the user has, but the AI needs to be able to move on or change subjects if the user changes their mind, which happens a lot.

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your first issue with the Shopify integration and AI handling of order statuses: The AI can see tracking info and shipped status, but it seems there is no explicit mention in the available information about the AI recognizing or acting differently based on the "partially fulfilled" tag in Shopify orders. The AI may not inherently interpret this tag to inform customers about multiple shipments unless specifically trained or programmed to do so. You might need to customize the AI Chatbot's training or logic to recognize the "partially fulfilled" status and respond accordingly to inform customers that their order will arrive in multiple shipments.

For your second issue about the AI's form integration and its tunnel vision when initiating a quote form: The AI's behavior of hard focusing on the form once it starts, ignoring pauses, stops, or confirmation logic, is not directly addressed in the provided information. However, it is noted that the AI agent can be trained and customized in its skills and behavior through the AI Agent Builder, including how it interacts with forms. It may require adjusting the AI Agent's training or settings to allow more flexible interaction, such as enabling it to move on or change subjects if the user changes their mind during the form filling process.

In summary, both issues likely require customization and training of the AI Agent within the Jotform AI Chatbot & Live Chat app or AI Agent Builder to handle specific tags like "partially fulfilled" in Shopify orders and to manage form interactions more flexibly to avoid tunnel vision.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
