DigitalBPNYCWe would like an option in the form settings to remove or disable the prompt that asks users to create or log in to a Jotform account when they save an incomplete form using the Save and Continue functionality. Currently, when respondents attempt to save their progress, they are prompted to either create an account or log in, which can deter some users from completing the form. The option to skip is available but it would be better to remove the prompt entirely if possible. This is especially problematic for forms where we want to minimize friction and keep the experience as anonymous and lightweight as possible.
Requested Enhancement:Add a setting at the form level (e.g., under Settings → General → Save and Continue Later) that:
Allows form owners to disable/hide the “Create an account / Log in” prompt for respondents.
Keeps the Save and Continue feature active by allowing users to save their progress without creating an account, for example via:
A one-time email with a continue link, and/or
A direct draft URL that users can copy and revisit.
Benefits / Rationale:Reduces friction and drop-off caused by mandatory or highly prominent account-creation prompts.
Improves user experience for respondents who prefer or require anonymous or low-friction participation.
Gives form owners more control over the Save and Continue UX to better match their audience and use case.
Thank you for considering this enhancement to the Save and Continue experience.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi DigitalBPNYC,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
The current Save and Continue Later feature in Jotform allows users to save their progress and return later to complete the form. For users who are not logged in, when they try to save, a prompt appears asking them to create or log in to a Jotform account. They do have the option to skip creating an account and still save their progress by receiving a session link via email or copying a direct draft URL.
However, there is no existing setting at the form level to completely disable or remove this prompt that asks users to create or log in when saving an incomplete form. The skip option is the closest available feature to minimize friction, but the prompt itself cannot currently be hidden or disabled entirely.
This means that while users can save their progress anonymously by skipping account creation, the prompt to create or log in will still appear by default.
Your suggestion to add a setting under form settings (e.g., Settings → General → Save and Continue Later) to disable or hide the “Create an account / Log in” prompt while keeping the Save and Continue feature active with options like a one-time email with a continue link or a direct draft URL is a valuable enhancement request. It would reduce friction and improve the user experience for anonymous or low-friction participation.
At this time, this feature is not available, but your feedback is important and can be considered by the Jotform product team for future updates.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
