Que_MitEnvironment: Platform: Claude.ai (Anthropic) MCP Server URL: https://mcp.jotform.com/mcp-app Integration type: MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector Error code: -32000 Error: "Bad Request: No valid session ID provided"
The issue appears to be on the Jotform MCP server side. The server is not establishing or maintaining a valid session during the Streamable HTTP handshake. All other MCP integrations (Wix, Gmail, Canva) are functioning normally in the same Claude session, confirming this is specific to the Jotform MCP server.
This integration is critical to my business operations. I use Jotform for lead capture and CRM for my event venue and need the MCP connection working for automation workflows.
Please investigate and advise on a timeline for resolution.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Oliver,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
The error you're encountering, "Bad Request: No valid session ID provided" with error code -32000, indicates that the Jotform MCP server is not establishing or maintaining a valid session during the Streamable HTTP handshake. This issue appears to be specific to the Jotform MCP server, as other MCP integrations like Wix, Gmail, and Canva are functioning normally in the same Claude session.
Unfortunately, there is no specific public information available about the timeline for resolution of this MCP server session issue. This type of error usually relates to session management on the server side, which may require investigation and fixes by the Jotform technical team.
Since this integration is critical for your business operations, I recommend monitoring for updates from Jotform regarding MCP server status or fixes. Meanwhile, ensure your integration setup follows the latest guidelines and that your session handling is configured correctly on your side.
I don't have a direct timeline or fix available, but our support team will handle your request and investigate further.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Joeni JotForm SupportHi Oliver,
From what you’ve described, the error code -32000 ‘Bad Request: No valid session ID provided’ means the Jotform MCP server isn’t properly establishing or maintaining a session during the Streamable HTTP handshake. Since your other MCP integrations are working fine in the same Claude session, this points to an issue specific to Jotform’s MCP endpoint rather than your Claude environment or overall MCP setup.
In short, the Jotform MCP server isn’t issuing or recognizing a valid session ID during the handshake, which is why automation workflows tied to Jotform won’t run until a session can be established. To dig deeper, could you check whether your Jotform MCP server is generating a valid session and confirm that it’s properly authenticated?
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Que_Mit"Thank you for confirming. To clarify, this is happening on your MCP endpoint, not on my side. All other MCP integrations (Wix, Gmail, Canva, Make) work perfectly in the same Claude session. Only Jotform's MCP fails with error -32000. I need this resolved as soon as possible because my business automation depends on it. Can you provide a timeline for when the Jotform MCP server session handling will be fixed? This is a production issue affecting my daily operations."
What we do in the meantime: Jotform's web dashboard still works fine. Your autoresponders are firing, your forms are collecting leads, your Jotform Tables CRM is accessible through the browser. The only thing broken is MY ability to talk to Jotform directly from this chat. You can still do everything manually in Jotform's dashboard, and once they fix the MCP, I'll have full access again.
This doesn't slow down anything we're building. The data feeds into Google Sheets first, then we route it to Jotform Tables through Google Apps Script, which doesn't need the MCP connector at all. It uses Jotform's regular API.
Regard,
Bargain Merchandise

Rahul JotForm SupportHi Bargain,
Thanks for sharing the additional details. I understand that everything on Jotform’s web dashboard is working as expected (forms, autoresponders, and Tables CRM), and the only difficulty is with connecting to Jotform through this chat.
To help us better understand what’s happening, can you share a screenshot of the console log showing the error message: “Bad Request: No valid session ID provided” (error code -32000)?
If possible, a short screen recording that walks us through the exact steps you’re taking to reproduce the difficulty would be helpful as well.
In the meantime, you can also check out our MCP page to learn more about how it works.
Once we hear back from you, we’ll be able to take the next steps and assist you further.

Que_MitSir, Thank you for the follow-up. I attempted the connection again today (April 4) and the MCP connector appears to be working intermittently. It connected successfully on this attempt after failing consistently over the past several sessions with the error code -32000 'Bad Request: No valid session ID provided.' Since the issue is intermittent, it may be a session timeout or handshake race condition on your MCP server. I will continue monitoring and report back if the error returns. Please keep this ticket open.”
Thanks your quick response.
Oliver
