    Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding the issue with your BEHS66 Events Form hanging in Safari but working fine in Chrome, here are some common causes and solutions for forms not working properly in Safari:

    • Network problems: Ensure your internet connection is stable as intermittent connections can cause the form to hang.
    • Inactivity timeout: If you take too long to fill out the form, the server might disconnect you. Try to complete the form without long pauses.
    • Caching issues: Even though you cleared browser history, cookies, and cache, the form's own cache might still cause problems. You can clear your form cache from your Jotform account settings:

Here’s how to clear your form cache:

    1. Go to your Workspace page and click your Profile Picture/Avatar at the top-right.
    2. Select Settings to open your Account Settings page.
    3. On the right side under Form Caches section, click Clear Cache.

This process clears temporary data related to your forms and can resolve loading or hanging issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it could be related to Safari-specific compatibility or settings. Trying another browser like Chrome, as you did, is a good temporary workaround.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi John,

I've cloned your form and filled it out through a Safari browser. The form was submitted without any issues. You can refer to the screencast below:

I've cleared the caches of your forms as an additional precaution. If the same issue happens, you can take a screenshot. That'll help us to understand better what’s going on. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:

    1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners and drag it inward.

    Hi John,

Is this also happening on an iOS device through the Safari browser? Make sure that the browser is updated to the latest version to get the best out of Jotform. Can you give it another try? Once it was stuck in the Please wait, capture a screenshot of the browser's console report and share it with us. You can follow the guide on this link to get the browser's console report.

When we hear back from you, we’ll be ready to move forward.

    Hi John,

Can you get the console report when the issue happens? Here’s how you can get the console report in Safari:

    1. Open Safari Preferences: Click on Safari in the upper-left corner of your screen, then select Preferences.
    2. Enable Develop Menu: Go to the Advanced tab and check the box for Show Develop menu in menu bar.
    3. Open Console: Right-click on the page where the form hangs and select Inspect Element, or press Cmd + Option + C on your keyboard to open Developer Tools.
    4. Go to Console Tab: In the Developer Tools window, click on the Console tab to view any error messages or logs.
    5. Take a Screenshot: When the form hangs and shows the frozen progress bar and Please Wait message, take a screenshot of the console output.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
