I have used Jotform.. and have a few working now . Today I just created a form BSHS66 Events. When I hit the summit button while entering date , it locks up .. it says waiting at the bottom. .it appears to not be completed. However, when I quit I get the email. it shows info has been recorded . Unfortunately I can not use the form as it would frustrate people waiting for the form to complete .. Is this a server issue , software problem? My other forms are working fine My email associated with the account is : evansja007@gmial.com link below thanks

    Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your issue with the BSHS66 Events form where the submission button locks up and shows a waiting message while entering the date, but you still receive the email after quitting, this behavior suggests a possible issue with the form submission process rather than a server-wide problem, especially since your other forms are working fine.

Here are some steps to help troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, cached data can cause form submission issues. Log out of your account, clear your browser's cache and cookies, then log back in and try submitting the form again.
    2. Try a Different Browser or Internet Connection: Test the form submission on a different browser or network to rule out browser-specific or connectivity issues.
    3. Check Form Elements: Ensure that the date field and other elements in your form are properly configured and there are no conflicting conditions or scripts that might cause the form to hang during submission.
    4. Review Email Notification Settings: Since you receive the email, check the email notification setup to ensure it is correctly configured without any errors that might affect the submission process.
    5. Test with a Simplified Version: Create a copy of your form with minimal fields, including the date field, and test submission to see if the issue persists. This can help isolate if a specific field or condition is causing the problem.

If the problem continues after these steps, it might be helpful to share a screenshot or more details about the form setup and the exact behavior during submission.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
