I found in this Jotform help thread that there is supposed to be a "Hidden" visibility toggle for the Next button in the Advanced settings on the page break element:

But when I open that on a form in my account, I don't have that toggle feature:

Has this feature been discontinued? Is there a different way to access these settings? Is it because I'm on a Starter account?

Please let me know if there's any way to hide the "Next" button at all?

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your question about hiding the "Next" button on a page in your classic form:

The "Next" button is part of the Page Break element's navigational buttons along with the "Back" button and the "Submit" button. If you set a condition to hide the Submit button, the Back and Next buttons will also be hidden alongside it.

However, there is no mention in the current knowledge base that the "Hidden" visibility toggle for the Next button in the Advanced settings of the Page Break element has been discontinued or restricted by account type such as Starter accounts.

To hide the Next button, you can try setting conditions that hide the Submit button on that page, which will also hide the Next button. Unfortunately, there is no direct toggle for hiding the Next button alone if it is not visible in your Advanced settings.

If you want, you can also explore using conditions or custom CSS to hide the Next button, but these methods are not officially documented in the knowledge base.

Here is an example of the Page Break Advanced settings where you would normally see the Next Button Visibility toggle:

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Eric,

I have checked your form and noticed that you have added multiple "thank you for your interest" pages. It looks like you're trying to direct the user to a specific page. Can you share which page you want to hide the next button on? Also, share the flow of your form for us to understand what's happening.

When we hear back from you, we’ll be ready to move forward.

    Hi Jerlan,

Thanks for responding. So throughout the form, we have a number of questions that if answered in a certain way we want to opt that person out from filling out the rest of the form. It seemed that the best way to do this was to break things up first by page, then conditionally send them to the corresponding "thank you for your interest" page, where the only button would be a submit that then redirects them to an external URL.

For example, if they select any state other than California, South Carolina or Texas in question 2, then it will send them to the End-State page. I have yet to set up the other logic for the other "End-___" pages, so just refer to the End-State page.

The problem is that I can't remove the Next button from the End-State page, which means they'll see both buttons and cause confusion to these people.

If you feel there is a better way to achieve this goal, I'm happy to change methods. Essentially, we need 4 different Thank-You / End pages, whereby 3 of those pages are set up with logic (based on different questions throughout the form) to opt people out from seeing the rest of the form if they trigger this logic.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,

If your main goal is to hide the Next button, we can work on this together. When you added the Submit button on the Back and Next buttons, the element changed from Page Break to Submit. The trick here is to hide the Next button first before adding the Submit button. Let me show you how you can do this using a cloned form:

    1. In Form Builder, select the Submit button, and then click on the Trash icon on the right side.
    2. Now, select the Page Break element and then click on the Gear icon on the right side.
    3. Next, in the Page Break Properties on the right side, go to the Advanced tab. Then set the Next Button Visibility to Hidden.
    4. Finally, add back the Submit element.

    Hi Kris,

Your instructions worked! Thanks for the help. It might be a good idea for you to amend this support thread to the support link I provided in my first message as a reference, since your notes here help explain that better.
