Can I hide Room 1 during a specific date? May 4 to July 1.

    Hi rrbc,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I see that you'd like to hide the Room 1 option only for bookings between May 4th and July 1st. This isn't possible within the same room selection field because conditional logic can show or hide entire fields, but it can't hide just one option inside a field.

As a workaround, you can create two versions of the room selection field; one with Room 1 included and one without it. Here’s how to set that up:

    1. In Form Builder, right-click on the room selection field, and then select Duplicate to create a second copy of the field.
    2. Then, in the Duplicate field, remove the Room 1 option so only the available room options remain.
    3. Click on the Gear icon at the top-right corner of the duplicated field,
    4. Now, click on the Advanced tab, and then enable Hide Field so it stays hidden by default.

After that, you can display questions based on selected answers in a few simple steps. Let me show first show you how to add the questions:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element and drag-drop the fields you want to use as follow-up questions (I used Short Text fields in this example)
    2. Next, click on the Type a Question text and change it to the question you want to use.

Now, let's set up the conditions:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. Next, click on Conditions on the left of the page.

    3. Now, click on Show/Hide Field to create your condition (if you already have a condition, first click on Add Condition and then click on Show/Hide Field).

    4. Set the conditions like you see below and click on Save:

The condition is set to show the follow up questions when the user selects Yes. Check out the screencast below to see what happens when the condition is met or not met:
