You can't see PayPal Business under Form Elements, Payments because several older PayPal products, including PayPal Express, Pro, Invoicing, and Checkout, have been discontinued. Additionally, PayPal Standard will be removed on December 31, 2025. To continue accepting payments smoothly, you need to switch to the updated PayPal integration.
To use Jotform's PayPal integration, you must have a verified PayPal Business account, which also enables debit and credit card payments. Without this, the credit card fields won't appear.
For new forms, integrating with the updated PayPal makes it easy to accept payments online securely and quickly.
If you want to switch from an unsupported PayPal integration to the new one, you don't need to delete the old payment gateway (deleting it will cause loss of data linked to that payment field). You can follow the guide on how to switch your payment gateway for detailed steps.
Here’s how to create a PayPal payment form:
- Click Add Form Element in the upper-left corner of the Form Builder.
- Go to Payments at the top.
- Search and select the updated PayPal integration.
- Connect your verified PayPal Business account or enter your PayPal account email.
- Configure the payment type and other settings, then continue.
