    Hi DeptLA,

To prevent our system from asking you to log in before viewing or downloading submission attachments, you can Disable the Requirement to Login to View Uploaded Files. It only takes a few simple steps. Heres how:

    1. On your Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image in the top-right corner of the screen.

    2. In the Dropdown menu that comes up, click on Settings.

    Hi DeptLA,

For verified accounts, the setting Require Log-in to View Uploaded Files is mandatory and cannot be turned off. This is part of Jotform's commitment to data privacy and security for verified accounts, especially those with HIPAA-friendly forms. Users must log in to view or download uploaded files to ensure proper protection of sensitive information.

If you have a verified account, this setting is required and cannot be disabled.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi DeptLA,

The setting Require Log-in to View Uploaded Files was implemented as part of Jotform's commitment to data privacy and security. It requires users to be logged in to view or download uploaded files to protect sensitive information. This setting has been in place especially for accounts with HIPAA-friendly forms and verified accounts, where it cannot be disabled.

This privacy option was introduced alongside other security measures in the account settings, where users must verify their identity to make changes to this setting.

If you need more detailed information about the exact date of implementation, it is not explicitly stated in the available resources.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi DeptLA,

For verified accounts, especially those with HIPAA-friendly forms, the Require Log-in to View Uploaded Files setting is mandatory and cannot be disabled to ensure data privacy and security. Unfortunately, there is no workaround to bypass this requirement for verified accounts.

This means your members will need to have an account and log in to view or download uploaded files.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

For accounts with HIPAA-friendly forms or verified accounts, this privacy option cannot be disabled. It is a mandatory security measure to ensure proper protection of sensitive data.

While the exact date of implementation is not explicitly stated, it is possible that recent updates or changes to your account status triggered this setting to become enforced starting today.

    Hi DeptLA,

The relevant team is aware of the issue and has just implemented a fix. It should be working now. Can you try again? Go to the Security page in your account settings and then uncheck the box on the left of the Require log-in to view uploaded files option. The following screencast shows my test on my test account:
