    Hi

For this form, we have approximately 60+ entries for a competition.

Our judges will most likely not do all 60 and one time.

How would you suggest we modify this form so that judges can save + return to their ballot at different times?

Im worried we have't set up this form properly for what we are trying to do.

    Hi Russell,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

To allow your judges to save their progress and return to their ballots later, you can enable the Save and Continue Later feature on your form. This feature is ideal for long forms or when users cannot complete all entries in one session.

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder and select the Submit button's gear icon to open its properties.
    2. Go to the Advanced tab in the properties pane on the right.
    3. Turn on the Save And Continue Later option. This will add a Save button to your form.

When judges click the Save button, they can choose to save their progress either by creating/logging into a Jotform account or by skipping account creation and receiving a draft link via email. They can use this link to continue filling out the form later.

You can also customize the email sent to judges with their draft link under the Settings > Show More Options > Continue Forms Later section.

    Important notes:

    • Drafts are saved for up to two months before automatic deletion.
    • The Save and Continue Later feature does not work with certain widgets like Appointment, Unique ID, Inventory, etc.
    • If embedding the form on a website, use the iframe method to ensure the Save button appears.

This setup will allow your judges to save their ballots and return to complete them at different times without losing their progress.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
