Form Gets Stuck on "Please Wait..." in Safari on iPhone

A user on Reddit reported an issue where their form remains stuck on “Please wait...” after submission, even though the submission is received successfully.

I was able to reproduce the issue, and it appears to occur only on Safari on iPhone. I did not encounter the issue in any other browser or device, so it seems to be specific to iPhone Safari.

Replication steps:

1. Create a simple form

2. Open it on iPhone, Safari browser and submit it

3. The submit button is stuck on "Please wait...", although the submission was received.

Device:

I used iPhone 12 PRO MAX - iOS 26.3.1 (a)
