    Hi Denyse,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Let me help you with that:

When you want to edit or add new options to a dropdown field in your Jotform Table's column preferences, but you don't see the option to do so even though there is a Save Changes button, it usually means the dropdown options cannot be edited directly from the table view if the column is linked to form data or has restrictions.

    Here’s what you can try:

    1. Check if the dropdown field is linked to the form's original dropdown field. If it is, you need to edit the dropdown options in the form builder itself, not in the table.
    2. If the dropdown is for administrative use and not imported from the application, ensure you have the correct permissions to edit the table columns and that the column type is set to Dropdown.
    3. Try clicking the three dots on the column header, then select Edit Column Preferences. In the dropdown options section, you should be able to add or modify the dropdown choices. If the options area is not editable, it might be a limitation of the current table setup.

If these steps don't allow you to add or edit dropdown options, it might be necessary to recreate the column or manage the dropdown options from the form builder instead of the table.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
