    • I’m using Jotform Sign with an uploaded 15-page PDF.
    • I added a large number of signer fields (blue = first signer, orange = me) across all pages; the builder shows “All changes saved at 7:15 pm”.
    • In Preview Document and in a test send, only about half of the fields on page 1 appear; the second half of page 1 and all fields on pages 2–15 are missing.
    • I confirmed fields are correctly assigned to the first signer, not to myself, and I only have two signers total.
    • I did not hard refresh the page because I’m worried about losing work, and I need help recovering or making visible the fields that are not showing despite the autosave message.

    Hi Laurie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

It seems like the fields you added in Jotform Sign are not fully showing in Preview Document and test sends despite the autosave message. Let me help you with that:

Here’s how to check and recover your fields:

    1. In Sign Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the upper-left side of the page.
    2. Manually add the missing fields by dragging and dropping the elements into the corresponding places on your PDF pages. This ensures all fields are properly placed and visible.
    3. Confirm field assignments by selecting each element and clicking the Signator icon to verify they are assigned to the correct signer.

Adding fields manually can help make sure all your signer fields appear correctly across all pages. Also, double-check that the fields are assigned to the right signer roles.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

    Hi Laurie,

It seems like the issue you're experiencing is related to fields not showing despite the autosave message. This is a common situation that can often be resolved by manually adding or adjusting the fields in your Sign Document.

Let me walk you through the process again to ensure all fields are visible and properly assigned:

    1. In Sign Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the upper-left side of the page.
    2. Drag and drop the missing fields into their correct positions on your PDF pages.
    3. Check the assignment of each field by selecting it and clicking the Signator icon to confirm it is assigned to the correct signer.

This manual approach helps ensure that all fields appear correctly in Preview Document and test sends. Also, verify that you haven't exceeded any field limits that might affect document performance.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hi Laurie,

Is this the 260845682396066 the Sign Document you're working on? I preview the sign document and there are actually fields across all the pages. But if you're referring to this 260886864256068 Sign Document instead, I can confirm that there aren't any fields on pages 2 - 15 of the document, in both preview and the builder.

I'm not exactly sure why most of your work was not kept, despite of the autosave message, but cases like this happens due to browser cache issue. I would suggest you clear your browser's cache as a precaution.

Unfortunately, there's currently no way to retrieve them, you will have to manually add the fields again and change the signer role accordingly, like what our Support AI Agent suggested. You can follow the steps provided earlier.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
