I would like two fields on page 7 (Payment) to show the full US dollar total, i.e., $$150.00 rather than $150 but I do not know how to set this. The fields are Total Advertisement Fees and PayPal or Credit Card Total.

    Hi PWDCA,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Let me help you with formatting the two fields on page 7 (Payment) to show the full US dollar amount with two decimal places, such as $150.00 instead of $150.

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Go to the Form Builder and open your form.
    2. Navigate to page 7 (Payment) where your fields "Total Advertisement Fees" and "PayPal or Credit Card Total" are located.
    3. Select each field and look for the Options section in the field settings.
    4. Enable the option "Show Empty Decimal Places" to display trailing zeros after the decimal point (e.g., showing 150.00 instead of 150). This option ensures the field shows two decimal places.
    5. Set the number of decimal places to 2 in the field's calculation or formatting settings if available.

This will format the fields to always show the full US dollar amount with two decimals.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi PWDCA,

As mentioned by our Support AI Agent, you will have to enable the Show Empty Decimal Places, but only with the Advertisement Total Fee(s) field, since you're eventually passing the calculated value to Total Advertisement Fees and PayPal or Credit Card Total field. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In Form Builder, select the Advertisement Total Fee(s) Field and click on the Wand icon.

    2. In the Form Calculation panel on the right, click on the Options button below the number key pads.

    3. Finally, put a check on Show Empty Decimal Places option and click on Save.
