    Hi there team,

Is it possible to have multiple people assigned to the same form? We use our forms for medical repatriations and sometimes we have more than one staff member looking after a patient. Currently 1 person documents and submits the form. Is it possible to have 2x people assigned to the same form once its been commenced, so that they can both fill it out and sign off sections within the form and both be able to submit it? So that both of their information is on the same form rather than 2 separate forms being submitted for the same patient?

    I hope that makes sense.

Please let me know if I can clarify further.

    Kind regards,

    Georgia Stening

    Hi Georgia,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your question about having multiple people assigned to the same form to fill out and sign off sections, Jotform offers a few relevant features:

    • Form Collaboration: This feature allows multiple team members to work on the form design simultaneously in the Form Builder, but it does not support multiple people filling out the same submission at the same time.
    • Assign Form Feature: You can assign the form to multiple people via email or a direct link. Each assignee can fill out and submit the form individually. However, this results in separate submissions rather than multiple people filling out the same single submission.
    • Combining Submissions: After submissions are collected, you can use the Combine Submissions app to merge data into one file, but the original submissions remain separate.

Currently, Jotform does not support multiple people filling out and signing off on different sections within the same single form submission simultaneously. Each submission is typically completed and submitted by one person.

If you need multiple staff members to contribute to the same patient's form, a possible workaround is to use the Assign Form feature to have each person fill their part in separate submissions and then combine or review them together afterward.

Let us know if you need further clarification or assistance with these features.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
