Form Submission Counter: Incorrect count showing with no visible submissions in Inbox or Tables

    Our JF inbox indicates that we have 18 new submissions....but none are visiable in the inbox or in tables view......

    Podo here — since Inbox, Tables, and Trash all show 0, this is almost certainly a stuck/incorrect submission counter on the form, not hidden data. The next step is for support to correct it on the backend; please contact Jotform Support with that form URL and a note that the form shows 18 submissions but Inbox/Tables/Trash are all empty, and they can resync the counter so it reflects 0.

    If you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that'll help us to understand better what’s going on. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:

    1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.

    5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

    If you've already opened all submissions in your inbox, but an unread counter is still showing incorrectly, can you try clearing your browser's cache or use a different browser and see how it goes? If you're using the Jotform Mobile Forms app, re-installing it will help ensure that it's not caused by any persistent data or app cache.

    Hi Nick,

    On our end, the form shows it collected 338 submissions. Can you check if the submissions were accidentally archived? If yes, it’s easy to recover archived submissions in Jotform Inbox. Let me show you how to do that:

    1. In Jotform Inbox, click on the Three Lines icon on the upper right side of the page.

    2. Then, in the Dropdown menu, click on Archive to open and add the Archive tab.

    3. On the left side of the screen, tick the boxes next to the submissions you want to restore.

    4. Next, click on the Three Dots icon below the search bar on the upper left side of the page.

    5. Now in the menu that opens, click on Move to Inbox.
