Jotform Tables: Ability to create multiple rows in one submission

I am creating an entry form for a plant show. My hope was for the applicant to enter their name/email once. They can then enter 1 - 10 plants. I was using conditional logic to allow the applicant to enter another plant (on a new page) or review their entries and submit (last page).

The data is then exported as a csv to make labels for each plant. For that to work, I need each plant entry to be on is own line.

Is there a way to set up the form to do this? I would prefer to not have the applicant need to fill out a complete form for each entry as this would require them to fill out their information (name/email/etc) multiple times.

    Thanks

    Hi Renee,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, that's possible, and your setup is correct. On every page except the last page make sure to add the question Do you want to register another plant? That will trigger the next page to show through setting a conditional logic.

Also, you added the Review Before Submit widget, which works perfectly. May I know if any limitations or requirements are not accomplished on this setup?

Once we hear back from you, we can get moving on a solution.

Thank you. My issue is that I would like each entry on a separate row in the spreadsheet, with the applicant's name in each row. That way I can export the data as csv to a label maker program to print out a label for each entry.

    Hi Renee,

Thanks for clarifying. It'll only create a new row in the Submission Tables for every submission. In my understanding, in one instance of form submission, depending on the number of plants added, it will create that number of rows in the Submission Table. Unfortunately, that is not possible at the moment.

While that feature isn’t available in Jotform right now, I’ve sent your request to our Developers for review. When or if it gets developed will depend on their current workload, how possible it is, and how much demand there is from other users. If/when we have any updates, we’ll follow up here and keep you posted.
