    Hello,

On some of my forms I have single choice questions followed by other single choice questions.

Some of the questions are hidden but I would like all the answers to be filled in the PDF download.

Can I make the single choice questions auto populate answers based on the previous single choice answer selected but keep the question hidden because they already answered it?

    This is the form: https://form.jotform.com/260855195264161

I have tried following other guides in using the update/calculate field with no success.

    Hi Adult_Education,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can easily pass a field value to another field using a condition.  It ensures that information entered in one field is automatically populated in another. Let me show how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.
    3. Now, click on Add a New Condition and then click on Update/Calculate Field.

    4. Set the conditions like a sample below:

    2. Select PDF Editor in the menu.
    3. In PDF Editor, click on the Gear icon on the right side of the page.
    4. Then, uncheck the box next to the Hide empty form fields option.

I followed the update/calculate condition and it is not pre-filling options based on the answers selected. This is for single choice questions and answers not filled.

    Hi Adult_Education,

I cloned and tested your form to see if I could replicate the issue, but the conditions you created work. Check out my results in the screencast below:

Can you tell me which field is not working? Can you capture a video of what’s going on and share it? Loom works great, or you can upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox.

After we hear back from you, we’ll know what’s going on and how to help.
