Update a Field in Configurable List Widget Based on Another Field

    2 questions, if I may (but related).

    1 . If the user selects 'Junior' from the Age Group dropdown, I would like the 'Category' field in the Entry Details section to show as Junior, and for this to stick when new lines are created. There will need to be other user selectable entries in this field as well, but locked to Junior if that is chosen at Age Group.

    I am aware that a Configurable List cannot be modified. It is there for illustration only. (And because that's how I originally designed the form).

    2 . What options do I have that will allow the above, and also allow the user to create a new row as required (or for one to be added automatically), as currently shown in the Configurable List.

    Hi Boris,

    Thanks for using Jotform. It is not possible to dynamically update or lock a field within the Configurable List widget based on the selection of another field like the Age Group dropdown. The Configurable List widget does not support conditional logic or field locking within its rows. You can only update a field's value using conditions if it is a separate dropdown field, not from a Configurable List widget.
