faroutnumberedllcHi there, I got a message from a client that said that after they submitted a form, they received a confirmation email, which included a copy of the form they filled out. I need to turn that off. It is okay to receive a confirmation, but the personal information that they fill out needs to NEVER be emailed anywhere as email is not secure.
How do I turn this off? -
Podo: Support SpecialistHi Felicia,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Let me help you with that:
To stop sending personal information in the confirmation (autoresponder) email that your clients receive after submitting the form, you need to edit the autoresponder email settings in your form:
- Go to Form Builder and open your form.
- Click on the Settings tab at the top.
- Select the Emails tab on the left side.
- Find the Autoresponder Email (the confirmation email sent to your clients) and click the pencil icon to edit it.
- In the Email Content section, remove or edit the form fields so that the personal information is not included. You can delete the table or fields that show the submitted data.
- Save your changes.
This way, your clients will still receive a confirmation email, but it will not include any personal information they submitted on the form.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
