Workflow: Ability to clone and its email address and conditional logic

    Hello!

    We have a set of forms that will end up using the same workflow once they are completed, sending a completed PDF to multiple people based on the location picked from a drop down on the form.

    When I try to clone the workflow and attach it to another form, it drops all the email addresses from each location. It also drops all the conditions and makes them blank.

    Is there a way to make this workflow copy over without having to start everything over?

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Currently, when you clone a workflow, it will not copy the specific email addresses you set as approvers, email recipients, etc. It'll default to your account's email address. Once the Workflow is cloned on another form, you need to modify the email addresses.

    Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way to clone a workflow with all email addresses and conditions fully preserved for another form without manually reconfiguring them. Workflows are tied to specific forms, and cloning the workflow alone does not transfer all the conditional logic or email recipient settings.

    While that feature isn’t available in Jotform right now, I’ve sent your request to our Developers for review. When or if it gets developed will depend on their current workload, how possible it is, and how much demand there is from other users. If/when we have any updates, we’ll follow up here and keep you posted.
