AimeeArgyleI no longer have access to the email karapeck@vetcor.com and therefore can’t complete email verification. I need to change that email to aargyle@vetcor.com
-
Podo: Support SpecialistI can help with that — since you no longer have access to the old email, we’ll first need to recover or update access to your Jotform account itself. Please follow the steps in this guide to start the process: Recover Your Jotform Account, and once you’re back in, you can change the account email to aargyle@vetcor.com from your account settings.
Here’s how to change the account email once you can log in:
- Go to your Workspace page and click your profile picture/avatar in the top-right.
- In the menu, click your name to open your Account Page in a new tab.
- Click Edit on the right side of your current email address.
- Enter aargyle@vetcor.com and click Save.
If your account requires verification to change the email, it will send a code to the current email on file; if that’s the case and you truly cannot access karapeck@vetcor.com at all, let me know what happens at that step so I can point you to the next best option.

AimeeArgyleI do not have access to that email. This needs to be done manually
-
Podo: Support SpecialistHi Aimee,
I understand that you do not have access to the old email and need the email address changed manually. Unfortunately, for security reasons, email changes require verification through the current email address on file.
If you cannot access the old email at all, please let me know what happens when you try to verify the change, so I can guide you to the next best option available for your situation.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

SkylarHi Aimee!
I hope you're doing well. Are you able to get into your Jotform account? If so, you can change the email address linked to the account without needing to verify using your old email.
Once you're on your Jotform account, move to the top right profile button and click. Move over to settings > security, and confirm that the box labeled "require verification to change email" is not checked off. Then, you can go to account > edit (next to old email address), and enter the new one.
Finally, you can verify the new email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email sent to your new email. Please note that form submissions will still be sent to the old email address, so you must manually change it in each form you've created.
Hope this helps!
-
AimeeArgyleCould you please let me know how long this will take for a response? .
-
AimeeArgyleI am so sorry! I just saw the response!!
-
AimeeArgyleIt appears it's stuck on send verification code and I'm not able to leave that screen to follow the above instructions
-
SkylarHi!
I'm sorry that workflow didn't work out. You have mentioned that the screen is stuck on send verification code? Are you able to close the current browser and retry, so that the message is no longer up on your screen?
If not - that is completely fine. I can also try sending your question up to next level agents who have a better handle on manually changing the email. Let me know and we can try going from there!
Thank you
-
SkylarHi Aimee!
One last thing. You can also use this link https://www.jotform.com/help/how-to-recover-your-jotform-account/ to recover your account and change the email connected.
By using this link, Jotform can manually recover your account and get everything fixed! Let me know if that helps.
-
AimeeArgyleHi Skylar!
I tried logging out and re-entering and it's still says make "sure it's you and send verification code"
-
SkylarHi!
Okay - no worries. I would suggest using this link https://www.jotform.com/help/how-to-recover-your-jotform-account/ to recover your account and change the email connected. This is so Jotform can manually recover your account and get everything fixed! Let me know if that helps.

AimeeArgyleHi Skylar!
I apologize for the very delayed response, I was out of the office during that time. My question about doing the account recovery is the original sign on/email was done from an employee that is no longer with us. The credentials for the account recovery would be mine, and I didn't start this account. Am I still able to do the account recovery?
-
Ronald JotForm SupportHi Aimee,
If you can’t update your email address because the current one is unavailable and you can’t access the verification email, you can submit the form on the How to Recover Your Jotform Account page, and our team will look into it.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

AimeeArgyleHello,
I am not willing to provide a photo of my drivers license or passport to make a simple change to an email that we are no longer able to access. Is this something you are not able to do on the backend?
-
Joeni JotForm SupportHi Aimee,
Unfortunately, we’re unable to manually change email addresses without verification, as this helps keep your account secure. Jotform requires confirmation through a code sent to your current email, or account recovery if you can’t access it. The standard process is to recover your account through the account recovery page, where you may be asked to provide identification to verify ownership.
If you’re hesitant about providing ID, you can check Jotform’s Privacy Policy for details on how your data is protected.
Reach out again and let us know if you have any other questions.
