developerguru99Hi Jotform Support Team,
I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out with a couple of questions about Jotform's features and would appreciate your guidance.
---
**Question 1: How to Create a Workflow in Jotform**
I'd like to understand the step-by-step process of creating a workflow in Jotform. Specifically:
- What are the prerequisites or setup steps before building a workflow?
- How do I define triggers (e.g., form submission) and connect them to subsequent actions?
- Can workflows include conditional logic or approval steps?
- Are there any limitations I should be aware of (e.g., number of steps, user roles)?
---
**Question 2: Connecting Jotform Tables to an Agent**
I'm also exploring whether Jotform Tables can be integrated with an AI Agent. Specifically:
- Is it possible to connect a Jotform Table as a data source for a Jotform Agent?
- If yes, can the Agent read from and/or write to the Table in real time?
- What are the steps to set up this connection?
- Are there any known limitations or compatibility requirements?
---
Any documentation, tutorials, or step-by-step guidance you can share would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and support!

Bojan Support Team LeadHi Krishna,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Currently, Jotform flows can be triggered only by Form Submissions. If you have a form, you can easily create flow that will be triggered after the related form is submitted. Let me show you how:
- While in Form Builder of a form you wish to trigger the flow, click on Settings at the top orange bar.
- From the left menu, choose Workflows.
- You can enter a prompt, so AI creates a flow for you, or you can click Create Workflow button to manually create one.
Jotform workflows provide many different elements like sending emails, approvals, conditions, and other elements. Here's how to add them:
- While in Workflow builder, click Add Element from the left to open panel with elements.
- Drag desired element directly to the flow.
- From edge of previous element, click and drag to connect it to the element you have added.
There aren't any limitations on the flows, however, if you do add a lot of elements, it can run a bit slower. You can explore flows in depth here.
I’ve gone ahead and moved your other questions to separate threads to keep things tidy, and someone from our Support Team will help you with them here.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
