Signature Field: Set default option to Type instead of Draw

is it possible that the default option for signature is 'Type' rather than sign? I want both but the default to be type

Regarding your question about the signature field, in Jotform's Sign Documents feature, the signer can choose their preferred signing method between Type or Draw by clicking on the signature element while signing the document. However, this choice is given to the signer during signing, and there is no option to set the default method to Type instead of Sign as a preset default.

Also, this feature is only available in the Sign Documents product, not in the standard Form Builder signature field. Signers can select both typing and drawing options, but the default cannot be set to Type by form creators.

If you want both options available to signers, they will be able to choose, but the default option will not be configurable to Type only.
