What is the point of this AI? I uploaded a PDF to create a new form and it took two minutes and came back with a blank form. I could have done that.

I tried it again and same results.

    Hi factorybuilderstoreshr,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Creating a form by uploading a PDF is easy. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. On your Workspace page, click on Create on the top-left side of the page.
    2. Select Form from the assets, and then click on Smart PDF Form.
    3. In Smart PDF Forms, click on Upload Document, and then select the PDF you want to convert to a form, or just drag and drop the PDF into the white upload area.

Sometimes the fields automatically created in the PDF file end up in the wrong place. If that happens, you’ll need to move and resize them. Check out the screencast below to see how it’s done:

If some fields aren’t added automatically, you can manually add them to your form, and then match it to the PDF on the right side of the page.

That's it. Once you set everything up, when the form is filled, it will automatically fill your PDF file. Check out the screencast below to see how it'll work:

    Hi Jose,

The AI Agent may not work reliably, especially when handling large forms or complex setups. In such cases, you may need to partially assist the AI in building the form or complete the form yourself.

Meanwhile, we value the feedback you’ve provided, and if you can share more details, such as the PDF or PowerPoint you used and the instructions given to the AI Agent, we can submit this information to our developers for further improvement.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
