Rivera_DawnI am experiencing an issue where I have two forms assigned to me: "2026 INSPIRE ORANGE GENERAL VOLUNTEER JA Volunteer and Conduct Standards Form" and "2026 INSPIRE ORANGE EXHIBITOR VOLUNTEER JA Volunteer and Conduct Standards Form." Although the owner of the forms has assigned me Submit and Edit permissions, I still cannot see the "Waiting for me" tab to download these forms' submissions to Excel. All other forms are accessible to me without issue. I have confirmed with the form owner that my permissions are set correctly, but the problem persists. When asked if the permissions might be the issue, I was advised to have the form owner change my permission from Submit Only to Submit & View Later or Submit & Edit Later, but this has already been done. I need assistance to resolve this permissions or access issue so I can download the submissions to Excel. -
Eliza Enterprise SupportHi Dawn,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your email logs and saw that you received emails for the assigned forms. Since you mentioned that the purpose of sharing the forms is for you to download the submission data, can you have the form owner share the forms' Jotform Tables instead? Let me show you how:
1. On your Jotform Submissions Table, click on the Share button on the top-right side of the page.
2. Click on Share Settings and set your Table’s privacy options.
3. Now, click on Go Back in the top-right corner of the panel and use the Generated Link or the Invite by Email feature to invite people.
You can easily revoke the invites you’ve sent to others. Let me walk you through it:
1. While in Tables, click on the Share button to open Share Table.
2. Now, click on the avatars/icons of the people you invited next to the Shared with section.
3. Select the users that you want to revoke the access to by checking the boxes on the left, and click on Revoke.
4. Then, click on the Yes, Delete button. That’s it, you’re done.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Rivera_DawnBefore I send your answer to the form owner, I need to show you what is happening in case there needs to be further clarification.
The form owner gave me the following links to the tables.
When I use the links, I see this - see Screenshot - I can see the tables, but cannot download, or copy/paste into Excel. I see no buttons, commands, menus, etc, to do that. It won't let me highlight and copy/paste the table, I can only highlight and copy paste One row at a time, and only if I use keyboard commands like CTRL C and CTRL V. Are the permissions still incorrect?

Shaira JotForm SupportHi Dawn,
After further checking, I can see that the tables you shared are set to Public. Keep in mind that when a table’s privacy is set to Public, Read Only is the only available role. Under Apply Limitations, you can only enable the Print button, you won’t be able to enable the Download button or set an Expiration Date.
To resolve this, since you're invited through email, I suggest asking the form owner to set the tables to Private, which will allow them to enable the Show Download button option. Let me show you how:
- In Jotform Tables, on the upper right side part of the page, click on Share.
- Then, in the window that appears, click on the Share Settings.
- Next, under the Privacy Options, select Private Table.
- Finally, scroll down a bit and under the Apply Limitations section, enable the Show download button and you're all set.
Once the table is set to Private and the Show Download button is enabled, you will be able to see the Download All button. Check out the screenshot below to see my result:Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
