    Hi,

The word "Clone" appears when you click on a form link like the one you provided because Jotform allows users to create a copy of an existing form by cloning it. Cloning means making an exact duplicate of a form, which you can then edit and use independently from the original.

When you open a form URL that has cloning enabled, you might see an option or indication to clone the form. This is useful if you want to reuse the form's design, fields, and settings without starting from scratch. The cloned form will be named with a prefix like "Clone of" followed by the original form's name, and it will open in the Form Builder for editing.

Here’s why you see "Clone" when clicked:

    • The form is set to allow cloning by other users.
    • Clicking the link gives you the option to create a copy of that form in your own Jotform account.
    • This feature helps you save time by reusing existing forms.

If you want to clone a form, you can do it by pasting the form URL in your Jotform Workspace under Create > Form > Import Form > From a Webpage, then clicking Create Form. The cloned form will open in the Form Builder automatically.

Note that form owners can disable cloning for their forms, so if cloning is not allowed, you will see an "Unauthorized request" message instead.

For a visual guide, you can watch the video How to Clone and Edit Forms on Jotform at 0:03 which shows the cloning process step-by-step.

    Hi GROCT,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form, and while clone doesn’t appear in the actual form name, it does show on the browser tab and when the link is shared. To fix this, you’ll need to update the page title in your form settings. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar on the top, click on Settings.

    2. Next, click on the Show More Options button.

    3. Scroll down to Page Title and update the form title to the correct one.
