    Hello.

I keep having a glitch occur. The Thank You page on my most recent form (Career Mentorship Info Form) should have a button that allows the user to click on it and make another entry. Instead, it just shows the link language. The AI assistant on that page keeps telling me that it fixed it, but when I test it, it doesn't work. Eventually, it just shut down on me.

    Hi Cathy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

You can add a Visit URL button on the Thank You Page in just a few easy steps. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Then, in the menu on the left side of the page, click on Thank You Page.
    3. Next, click on Action Buttons, and then select Visit URL.
    4. Now, enter the URL link and URL title, then click on Create.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I'm not asking how to create a Thank You. The AI agent on the page already did. But, it doesn't work.

    Hi Cathy,

Thank you for clarifying the issue. Since the AI assistant already created the button but it is showing as link language instead of a clickable button, this could be related to how the Thank You Page is set up or a rendering issue.

Here are some important points to consider:

    • If your form is in Card Layout, the Thank You Page customization works differently. You need to scroll to the bottom of the form in Form Builder and click on Edit Thank You Page to modify it.
    • Action Buttons on the Thank You Page allow users to fill the form again or visit a URL, but sometimes the button may appear as plain text if the setup is incomplete or there is a temporary glitch.
    • Make sure you are using the Action Buttons feature under the Thank You Page settings in the Form Builder's Settings tab (for Classic Layout forms).
    • JavaScript or advanced customizations are not supported on the Thank You Page, so the button functionality relies on the built-in features.

If the AI assistant's fix is not working, you might want to try removing the existing button and re-adding it manually via the Action Buttons settings to ensure it is properly configured.

Let us know if you need detailed steps on how to check or re-add the button, or if you are using Card Layout or Classic Layout for your form.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

There are five Action buttons. The one I need, to enter another submission, is not among them.

    Hi Cathy,

Regarding the Action Buttons on the Thank You Page, the available options typically include:

    • Fill Again
    • Fill Another Form
    • Visit URL
    • Edit Submission

The button you need to allow users to enter another submission is usually the Fill Again button. This option lets users fill out the same form again after submission.

If you do not see this option among the Action Buttons, it might be due to the form layout or specific settings. For Card Layout forms, you need to scroll to the bottom of the form in Form Builder and click on Edit Thank You Page to access and add these buttons.

For Classic Layout forms, you can add the Fill Again button under the Thank You Page settings in the Settings tab of the Form Builder.

If the Fill Again button is missing or not working as expected, you might want to try removing the existing Action Buttons and re-adding the Fill Again button manually to ensure it is properly configured.

Let us know if you want detailed steps on how to add or configure the Fill Again button on your form's Thank You Page.

I added Fill again. What I need is a button that allows people to add multiple entries. For example, they enter one student, then they enter another student.

    Hi Cathy,

To allow users to add multiple entries, such as entering one student and then another, the Fill Again button on the Thank You Page is the option designed for this purpose. It lets users submit the same form multiple times in one session.

Here’s how it works and what you can do:

    1. Add the Fill Again button on the Thank You Page via the Settings tab in Form Builder under Thank You Page > Action Buttons.
    2. Customize the button name to something like "Add Another Student" to make it clear to users.
    3. Optionally set Prefill if you want to pre-populate fields with previous data, or leave it blank so users enter new information each time.

This button will reload the form so users can submit multiple entries consecutively.

If you want users to fill out a different form after submission, you could use the Fill Another Form button instead.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in button that allows multiple entries in one go on the Thank You Page other than using the Fill Again button repeatedly.

Let us know if you want detailed steps on setting up the Fill Again button or if you have any other questions.

Reach out again if you need any other help.

    Hi Cathy,

To remove the Submit Another Entry button that the agent created on your form's Thank You Page, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to Form Builder and open your form.
    2. Click on the Settings tab at the top.
    3. Select the Thank You Page option on the left side menu.
    4. Locate the Action Buttons section where the Submit Another Entry button was added.
    5. Remove or delete the Submit Another Entry button from the list of Action Buttons.

This will remove the button from the Thank You Page so it no longer appears to your form users.

If you need detailed guidance or screenshots for these steps, please let me know.

Reach out again if you need any other help.

There's no Submit Another Entry button on that list

    Hi Cathy,

The Submit Another Entry button you mentioned is not a separate action button listed in the Action Buttons section. Instead, the functionality to allow users to submit multiple entries is typically handled by the Fill Again button.

If you are seeing a button labeled Submit Another Entry that was created by the AI agent but it does not appear in the Action Buttons list, it might be a custom text or link added directly to the Thank You Page message rather than a built-in action button.

To remove it, you can check the Thank You Page message content itself:

    1. Go to Form Builder and open your form.
    2. Click on the Settings tab at the top.
    3. Select the Thank You Page option on the left side menu.
    4. Look at the main message box where you can edit the Thank You message text.
    5. If you see the Submit Another Entry text or link there, delete or modify it.
    6. Save your changes.

This should remove the button or link from the Thank You Page if it was added as part of the message content rather than an Action Button.

Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Reach out again if you need any other help.
