Highland_CommunityI am trying to see if there is a way to get a widget to only display certain fields based on the response to a question. I want to understand if this functionality is possible and how to implement it. I have not mentioned any specific steps I have tried or any error messages. I need assistance with this feature. -

Highland_CommunityI've attached the screenshot above because what I need to know is if there is a way to require a family to choose a category so that only those categories will be displayed. Currently choosing a category is optional and what ends up happening is families will erroneously choose products for multiple categories.

Joseph Christian JotForm SupportHi Highland_Community,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the Product List field behaves as a single unit, which means conditional logic cannot hide or display specific categories based on answers from another field. As a workaround, I suggest using multiple-choice fields for the categories and items and then showing or hiding them based on the selected answer. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Basic tab, drag and drop the Multiple Choice field to your form.
- Label as your first category and list your items.
Remember to add separate Multiple-Choice fields for the products under each category. Once added, you can create conditions to show or hide fields based on selected answers. Check out our guide on How to Show or Hide Fields Conditionally to learn more.Try that and reach out again if you need more help.

Highland_CommunityI have to use the stock option so I don't think that option will work but thanks for that information.

Joseph Christian JotForm SupportHi Highland_Community,
If you need to use a stock option, another workaround you can consider is using the Ticket Purchases widget. This allows you to set a limited quantity for each item, which helps control how many times an item can be selected. Let me show you how to add it:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Widgets tab, search for the Ticket Purchases widget and add it to your form.
- Then, in the menu on the right side of the page, configure the settings as needed and click on Update.
Another alternative is the Quantity Gift Registry widget, which allows users to select a quantity for a single item. Here's how:- In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Widgets tab, search for the Quantity Gift Registry widget and add it to your form.
- Then, in the menu on the right side of the page, configure the settings as needed and click on Update.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
