Can I build the Jotform edit link inside the form?

Hi,

I have had some issues with workflows, and connecting them through my boards. I have thought of a work around by putting the form edit link inside the form.

I know that this is the structure of the edit link:

http://submit.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=_FORMID_&sid=_SubmissionID_&mode=edit

Is it possible to get the form ID and Submission ID in the form? or at least in my Jotform board?

Here is my ideal workflow incase you have different recommendations:

Referral Form (submitted by anyone w/ priority calculation) -> Intake worker Board; worker follows up with referral -> Intake form with prioritization -> Intake Worker Board with Priority Tag.


Having the edit link here would be great so that we can use a form as essentially a client file, and we can update that file as things change, and to keep our waitlist moving.

Thanks for using Jotform. Note that the edit link can’t be generated inside the form itself because a submission ID only exists once the form has been submitted. Without that, the edit URL can’t be built dynamically within the form.

As a workaround, you can achieve your goal by using the Edit Link in your Notification Email and including their email as recipients. Check out my screenshot below:
