    Hi timber2jog,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding changing back to the free version of Jotform, I don't have a direct canned response for downgrading plans. However, typically, to change your subscription plan, you would need to manage your subscription through your Jotform account settings or billing section where you can select the free plan or cancel your current paid subscription.

If you want, I can provide detailed steps on how to check your subscription and downgrade if available.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi timber2jog,

Let me help you with that. Here’s how to check your subscription and downgrade your Jotform account back to the free Starter Plan:

    1. Go to your Workspace page and click on your avatar at the top-right side of the page, then select Settings.
    2. Under the Billing tab, click on Change Plan.
    3. Find the Starter Plan or the free plan option and click the Downgrade button next to it.
    4. You will see a pop-up window with extra information about the downgrade. Follow the instructions in the pop-up to complete canceling your current paid plan and switch back to the free plan.

Important: When you downgrade to the Starter Plan, your account will comply with the limits of that plan. If your total submissions exceed the limits of the free plan, you may lose access to some data. We recommend downloading your submission data before downgrading.

If you want to keep your submission data safe without losing it after downgrading, consider upgrading to the Storage Plan, which allows you to store more submissions while keeping your account limits.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
